“I
would rate my working experience at R.E.A.L Kids so far to be 4 out of 5 or Very
Good. I have had a lot of
opportunities to learn with and from good colleagues. R.E.A.L Kids also offers
a very good environment to work in as we have very friendly staff here. It is
also a very good place for personal and career development, as the principal is
very good at coaching and guiding the teachers as well as being encouraging at
the same time. I feel we have a strong brand to ride on as most people in the
ECCE industry are familiar with R.E.A.L Kids. On top of this, I think that we
have one of the best preschool curriculums in town.”

Encouraging Environment to Teach 3-year-old Toddlers via Multiple Intelligence Approach - Teacher Hema from UNITAR
![]() |
| Teacher Hema, Degree ECE Graduate from UNITAR International University. Currently an Assistant Teacher with R.E.A.L Kids. |
“Working
at R.E.A.L Kids has been very good. I
would rate it as 5 out of 5 due to its good environment as well as having
understanding principal and teachers. I feel that I am able to learn more here
compared to my previous preschools. I have learned how to teach and care for
children from toddlers up to 3-year-olds. It has been challenging but I
love it as my workplace is comfortable and conducive. Teaching and
learning-wise, the Multiple Intelligences or MI approach at R.E.A.L Kids is
ideal for slow learners who might lag behind other students. Personally, I have encouraged 3 junior
teachers to join R.E.A.L Kids because I think it is the best place for them to
work with young children and learn more about the profession. Meanwhile,
parents should consider R.E.A.L Kids because of its unique programmes,
passionate teachers, and wide range of extracurricular activities such as Art
& Craft and many others.”

Rewarding Career with R.E.A.L Kids and Good Learning Ground - Teacher Kym from SEGi
![]() |
| Teacher Kym, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education graduate from SEGi University, Management Apprentice with R.E.A.L Kids. |
“I am having a very rewarding career
experience with R.E.A.L Kids. I am also thankful to be blessed with my good
mentor, who taught and guided me in both the teaching and management aspects of
preschool education. To me, the people and work environment are more
important than Employer Brand and compensation. This is particularly essential
when building a united team whose members have good understanding of their
duties and practice teamwork.
One major
challenge however, would be juggling work and studies if for instance; you take
up a Master’s in Special Needs degree while serving as Management Apprentice in
a start-up centre. It can be demanding as you need to play multiple roles
including that of a class teacher in order to meet parents’ and management’s
expectations. But I would still
recommend junior teachers to join R.E.A.L Kids because it is a good learning
ground. You will have good mentors who are helpful and ever willing to
teach. There is also a lot you can learn in areas such as micro and macro
management. At the same time, I feel that ECE
graduates who are keen on the Management Apprentice role should be prepared and
willing to take up the challenge of hiring qualified and passionate teachers for
their respective centres.”
